Who is Jennifer?

Most of you who are visiting this site know me, but some of you may not! Obviously, my name is Jennifer Hines, and I live in Christiana, Tn. Christiana is right outside of Murfreesboro City limits. I am married to my best friend, and we have 4 animals, 1 dog and 3 cats! I have 8 years of experience working with children under my belt!

My style/ideas/theory on life!

I think that beauty surrounds us always! Sometimes, you have to take a second look, look deeper, or simply open your mind to find it! I believe that the photos that you are most likely to cherish forever, are not so much the super posed/say cheese!/unpersonal photos, but the photos of you and/or your family living your life, doing what you LOVE to do! Whether its a series of photos taken at your families FAVORITE spot to hang out, or in your living room where you love to gather and watch movies or play games, or simply me hanging out with your family on one of your "tradition type days" such as holiday baking with the kids, picnic at your favorite park, birthdays, etc. One day, later in life, after you have been married for a few years, or your kids have grown, you will remember those kind of days the strongest, and THOSE are the photos worth investing in. So, why settle for a backdrop at a studio, or an emotionless shoot at a location which you have no emotional attachment to? I'm not saying that there won't be "posing" at our shoot, but imagine the moments I could capture between the poses as well, AND at a location that has sentimental value to you, THOSE are the ones that will mean the most forever, and those are the ones that tell your families story.
~ I prefer natural light, but am more than willing to come into your home, or to an indoor location that is meaningful for you, as long as there is enough lighting. Being as I started off with the idea of only outdoor shots, I have not yet invested in lighting equipment.
~There is no time limit on our session, I will stay as long as you'd like me to, or as long as it takes for me to get the photos we are looking for (which we will discuss pre-appointment!
~Because I see my work as art, and not portrait photography, and because I know where my photos look best printed, I do not currently offer a CD (other than holiday card specials)
~My prices are low, and will only be that way during my portfolio/client building process, so hurry to catch the deal!
~I do custom editing to every photo that will be available to you for purchase, this means that post-processing takes me a while, but it is SO worth it to have something custom done for you, and unique!(when I say a while, I simply mean that you will not see your photos done the day of, or even within a few days, mostly a week or 2 at most!
~Be prepared for me to drill the personality out of you! ;o)
